I would be able to hear the ocean from where I’m sitting if it weren’t for the twelve lanes of traffic between our hotel and the beach. And that sums up our experience in Rio so far: natural beauty teeming with millions of people.
This is the third city we’ve visited so far (after Sao Paulo and Belem). Once we get back to Philly, we’ll write a little post about the different cities. My favorite so far has been Belem, a city in the Amazon region. We took a boat out to a village on the river, and spent the day with some great people. More details soon.
